RANDHAWA WINS PLAY-OFF BATTLE IN INDIA OPEN!
Golf fans in the capital had to return on a fifth morning to find out the winner of the US$ 400,000 Indian Open championships after fading light had pushed the play off to Monday. In the end, they saw a great finish by Randhawa. He tool the honours, beating SSP Chowrasia in the second play-hole.
Your client Pepsi -Gatorade-, who sponsored the sportsdrinks for the players, officials and fans was widley seen and recognized through our promotion. A survey on the recognition also shows, that Gatorade is known by 80% of the players -and- they would recommend it.

The Delhi Marathon with Score
The Marathon atracted round about 25,000 people and was the second edition of the Hutch Delhi Half Marathon which was flagged off from the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in the capital on last Sunday.
The Marathon attracted at least 40 of the world’s top 100 long distance runners and was a truely a success for our client JINDAL STAINLESS.

‘Commonwealth Journey from Melbourne to New Delhi’

Chief Minister of Delhi Ms. Sheila Dixit, today released the first copy of India’s first Coffee table book on Commonwealth Games. Christened as ‘Commonwealth Journey from Melbourne to New Delhi’, the book contains photographs by India’s leading shooter – Gagan Narang providing a glimpse of Indian team’s triumphant performance and backroom preparations in the recently concluded Commonwealth Games held at Melbourne.
Written by Sports Consultant – Sunil Yash Kalra, the book is interspersed with anecdotes from players, coaches and provides a sports perspective. The 120 page glossy book has a rare collection of over 100 photographs displaying moments of triumphs and celebrations of Indian contingent at the games, most of which are seen for the first time .
Speaking about the book and his passion for photography, Gagan said, “We are proud of Indian achievements at the Commonwealth Games and we have tried to make the book keeping the player’s perspective in mind. I always had a penchant for photography which was aided by the confidence instilled in me by Sunil Kalra and the Jindal family. This is my first attempt of making my private collection public with rare moments captured”.
Wishing Gagan well on his maiden literary venture were the capital’s glitterati, besides sports icons like Kapil Dev, Vijay Amritraj and Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and cricketers like Atul Wassan, Murali Karthik among others. Also present at the inauguration were ace shooters Samresh and Anuja Jung along with the team coaches, ace boxer and Commonwealth gold winner Akhil Kumar, World’s youngest participant in the Winter Olympics in Luge, Shiva Keshavan et al.
Speaking about this historic association in Indian sports literary world, Mr. Ratan Jindal, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Jindal Stainless Ltd ., said, “Jindal Stainless has always been supportive to the social endeavors with Sport being one. We are extremely privileged to be associated with this literary endeavor, which commemorates India’s glory at the recently concluded Commonwealth Games in Australia”.
